Bruce D'Agostino
Bruce D’Agostino is the retired president and CEO of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). He received a BA degree from the Loyola University of Baltimore.
Bruce joined CMAA in 1999 as its first full-time professional staff member. He has led CMAA’s growth from fewer than 800 members to more than 14,000 today. Under his leadership, CMAA has become a member society of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). CMAA’s CM Standards of Practice has been widely recognized as the definitive text of professional CM services.
He has served on the board of directors of the Society of American Military Engineers, and as an Advisory Board Member for Women’s Transportation Seminar International. He also has served with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). He has co-authored books on association management and written many articles for ASAE’s publications.
He enjoys hiking, fishing, and walking his dogs. An avid kayaker, he is involved with Team River Runner, an organization that provides opportunities for participation in adaptive paddling programs to wounded and disabled war veterans and their families. Bruce and his wife, Judy, have two grown sons and four grandchildren. The couple lives in Frederick, MD.
