Bruno-Elias Ramos
Bruno Ramos is principal-in-charge at BEA Architects Inc. in Miami, FL. He holds a bachelor’s degree in design and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Florida. He founded BEA in 1992 and has transformed the firm into an international design practice with numerous awards. He has made significant contributions to port infrastructure, particularly in cruise ship terminals from Miami to Istanbul and many other ports around the globe. He is known as a “master builder” because he understands the building process unique to each global location. His firm also has worked on university buildings, mixed-use facilities, sports complexes, and airports. The University of Florida College of Design, Construction and Planning recently named its new design school building the Bruno E. Ramos and Maritza F. Ramos Collaboratory in honor of Bruno and his wife. A Registered Architect in five states and a Certified General Contractor, Bruno is a member of the American Institute of Architects and sits on the advisory boards of the schools of architecture at UF and Florida International University.
