Brad Thurman
Brad Thurman is a principal and Chief Marketing Officer for Wallace Design Collective in Tulsa, OK. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architectural Engineering degrees at Oklahoma State University. He joined Wallace in 1987 and currently directs the marketing, branding, and business development for Wallace’s five U.S. offices.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma. His experience as a project engineer prior to his marketing position includes various projects from educational and institutional to retail, commercial, and industrial. He was the 2017-18 president of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Foundation, which provides research and marketing intelligence to the industry. He has been involved in SMPS for the past 21 years.
Brad also serves on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Oklahoma State University School of Architecture. He is a highly skilled communicator who shares his knowledge with others in the industry. He has spoken on communications and marketing at a variety of conferences, including SMPS, the American Institute of Architects, and the American Council of Engineering Companies. In 2015, he was inducted into the SMPS Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
