William C. Beck
Bill Beck is the retired vice president of quality assurance/quality control at WorleyParsons. He holds a bachelor of business management from the University of La Verne, a private university in Los Angeles County, CA. For over 35 years with WorleyParsons and the legacy Parsons Corporation, Bill served in quality, safety, project management, and construction roles, including managing a global supplier inspection group.
He participated in many areas with the Construction Industry Institute (CII), including service as the WorleyParsons representative on the CII Board of Advisors. He also served on the CII Executive Committee as well as on numerous CII research teams and implementation groups. He chaired the CII Implementation Strategy Committee for several years, guiding other member company representatives in implementing CII best practices. CII recognized him with three awards, the Distinguished Service Award, Implementer of the Year, and the prestigious Richard L. Tucker Leadership & Service Award.
Since his retirement, Bill stays active with volunteer services. He is on the board of the Pacific Symphony (the professional symphony of Orange County, CA) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He enjoys playing golf, sailing, and classical music.
