A. Ross Myers
A. Ross Myers is the chairman and chief executive officer of Allan Myers, headquartered in Worcester, PA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech. His firm is nationally ranked in the ENR Top 50 Heavy Contractors, has been named as one of Pennsylvania’s Top 100 Places to Work, and was named the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Contractor of the Year in 2012.
Ross is co-founder of the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech, conceived as a liaison between the construction industry and the academic community. He is an active supporter of many regional and national charitable organizations and is a member of the board of directors of New Life Youth and Family Services, a Philadelphia-area secondary school for at-risk youth. In 1986, he established a scholarship honoring his father, Allan C. Myers, for students of the local community college.
Ross is a board member of the ACE Mentor program and the Beavers and is a member of the Construction Industry Roundtable, the IIF Executive Forum and its Construction Industry Safety Initiative, and The Moles.
He and Beth have six children and enjoy health, fitness, and sports, particularly skiing, near their home in Big Sky, Montana.
