Alfonso Daloisio, Jr.
Alfonso (Al) Daloisio, Jr., is president and owner of Railroad Construction Company. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Villanova University. He has overseen the growth of the company from the time it was operating as a subcontractor on track projects to its current position as a general contractor involved in the construction of roads, bridges, and transit systems throughout the East Coast.
Al joined the family business in 1975 after working during the summers as a youngster and on through college. He became president in 1983 and has full responsibility for all company operations. He has donated his time and expertise to such organizations as the Associated Construction Contractors of America, where he is a past trustee and a committee member; the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey; the General Contractors Association of NY; the Construction Industry Advancement Program of NJ; the Carpenters Union of New Jersey; The Moles; and the Beavers. He also is active in local nonprofit organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson & Passaic; Oasis–A Haven for Women and Children; and Habitat for Humanity.
Al and his wife, Joanne, have three children and three grandchildren.
