Art Chavez
Artùro Chavez is a board member at Page in Houston, TX. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Houston. His career spans over 34 years, 29 with Page. Artùro began his career as a design architect and won numerous design awards. Known for his creativity, he leads the firm in creating a collaborative culture, fostering education, and helping the diverse professionals achieve their best. He created “Page One,” an initiative focused on the “team” approach to success within the design-construction industry. His global project work stretches from Europe to Africa and the Middle East to China. He led Page’s expansion into Mexico, formalizing Page’s long-standing history there. In 2017, Artùro partnered with the UH Bauer College of Business to support the Women in Leadership Conference. He is a Registered Architect in over 20 states and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is a member of the UH Gerald Hines College of Architecture Alumni Hall of Fame, chair of the University of Houston Board of Visitors, and Trustee Board Member at Voorhees University, in Denmark, South Carolina.
