Abbigail Brown
Abbigail Brown is owner and president of CPM Logistics, a California firm that works closely with local, disadvantaged communities on transportation projects. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in public administration from Post University in Waterbury, CT. Her company’s interest is in alternative delivery public works projects in the heavy civil and transportation sectors and how these processes affect the success of small contractors. CPM has partnered with several agencies in California to provide information to the industry on upcoming pursuits using CMGC and progressive design-build delivery methods. She also is active in several mentor programs and currently is the program manager for the Caltrans District 4 Mentor-Protégé Program. Her expertise includes alternative delivery, contract documents, integrated project delivery, team building, and critical thinking. Notable projects include the California High-Speed Rail Project, Fresno, the Santa Barbara to Carpentaria Highway 101 Project, Santa Barbara, and Presidio Parkway, Phase II, in San Francisco. She and Sereno have two daughters.
